Energy Kitchen Restaurant Review

Fast food has become such an embedded part of our American consciousness that it is difficult to imagine a world that moves beyond those drive-ins selling us our increased waistlines and doubled weights. Still, as public health awareness becomes more sophisticated, and consumers become more attuned to what constitutes a healthy, natural meal in a society raised on preservatives, tastes and preferences will surely change.

What is Energy Kitchen?

Want proof? Energy Kitchen, a fast-food chain that bills itself as a healthy alternative to McDonald’s and others of its ilk, is taking the junk food world by storm. Revitalized by the same brain behind Vitamin Water,, the concept quick dining establishment caps everything on its menu at 500 calories. The menu includes an assortment of items that are healthy counterparts to traditional fatty meals.

For example, the 338-calorie turkey burger can serve as a stand-in for the Big Mac. The restaurant also offers healthy, veggie- and fruit- based side items, including a black bean and mango salad, an asparagus salad, mashed sweet potatoes, and sauteed mushrooms and onions.
